Faces of Funding: CAN Capital Helps Rock City Climbing Gym Reach the Top
Less than a minute Read
When veteran rock climber and avid outdoorsman Shawn Crawford opened Rock City Indoor Climbing Gym in Anaheim Hills, California over 20 years ago, it was among the first of its kind in the United States. Founded as a learning gym for climbers at all levels, Rock City has an even greater ambition.
“My favorite part of running Rock City is giving people the knowledge they can do something outdoors,” says Crawford. “The knowledge they can get outdoors and have fun doing it.”
When Rock City had grown to the point where expansion was necessary, Crawford turned to CAN Capital to help him find the funding to take his business to the next level. “With CAN Capital, I filled out a 4-5 page application and 3 days later, the money was in the bank,” remembers Crawford. “They make my job much, much easier.”
